I am a very active, sensitive, loyal and sincere individual. I love to serve others and enjoy seeing tasks accomplished. I love to create things. Decorating is a big hobby of mine, as well as doing different crafty types of things (such as sew, paint, etc.). I have a very strong faith in Jesus Christ. I am an elementary teacher by trade and have done very well in my vocation (2011-2012 I was selected as "Teacher of the Year" at my school). I love teaching every age group and feel it is one of my greatest strengths. I have often been asked to speak to junior high and high school age girls on a myriad of topics. I have enjoyed this opportunity and love being around them. Education is extremely important to both Shay and me. I am a very trusting person. I enjoy meeting and talking with people and getting to know them. Although most wouldn't know it, I am a bit shy at first and sometimes need a moment to "warm up" and feel comfortable and safe around others.
What Shay Loves About Winnie
Winnie truly cares about everyone. She has a special ability to teach. I am amazed at her talents as a teacher. Winnie is more spontaneous and is more comfortable in a fast-paced environment than I am. I have learned countless things through her example, most important of which is a stronger testimony in Jesus Christ through her example. I have learned to be more considerate of the feelings of others as Winnie is always keenly aware of the feelings of everyone around her.

Goals:
My greatest goal, hope, and aspiration in this life is to return to my Father in Heaven. I want to do all that He asks me to do and become what he wants me to become. I am not perfect but I aspire to be. Second, I hope that when my life is over I can look back and say I did the very best that I could, I was the best spouse and mother I could be, and that I accomplished much good. Third, I want Luke, and any other children that enters our home, to know they are special, cherished, valued, respected, and deeply loved! Finally, I want to love, laugh, and enjoy each day of my life!
Hobbies:
I really enjoy expressing myself through decorating, art, design, sewing, quilting, music, etc. I love to entertain and have family and friends over for parties, games, and various other activities. I love to travel and see new place (I have lived in 3 countries and have been to 14). I also enjoy watching and playing all different kinds of sports.
Interests:
I have always been interested in people and the world. I enjoy giving service and participating in various humanitarian efforts. I love to read, watch movies, play games, and learn about anything and everything.
